GUIDE TO:
This hidden gem doesn’t require much walking. It does require a little bit of rock scrambling, However, if you don’t mind climbing down a few boulders, this is one of the easiest gems to get to in all of Port Stephens.
This spot has become rather popular in recent years and once you get there, it’s easy to see why that is.

Before we start our journey, I must mention that like with all Rockpools tides are very important when venturing out you must keep an eye on tight charts and do not attempt to visit this spot if the tides are unsafe or at a higher level
Tide charts are readily available online and before any coastal adventure should be consulted regarding tide wind and swell.

Once you’ve looked at your tide charts and you’ve been given the okay it’s time to start our adventure. Let’s begin at the boat harbour whale watching car park. Parking here, there’s not much of a walk required, we will be heading out towards the viewing platform of the whale, watching area here you will see a few benches, which if you don’t wish to go any further, is the perfect place to rest have some lunch and keep a lookout for whales on their migration path

It’s not a high edge and quite easy to navigate down.
After the small rock scramble, you should be able to see the champagne spa slightly to the right and ahead of you.
just a hop skip and jumps over a couple of rocks and you have arrived.
